About Us

Established for over thirty years, Royal Court is a privately run residential care home owned and managed by Mark and Claire Appleton

We are a small home with a friendly and open atmosphere providing long term residential, short term residential, respite and day care for older people.

Our residents have a range of needs, mostly those of frailty and mobility brought on by old age, memory problems, confusion and dementia.

The home is managed by Mark Appleton who is supported by his wife, Claire, in the day to day running of the home. We have a Deputy Manager, Kerry Piggott, who has over twenty years of experience in care and has worked at Royal Court for over nine years and who is supported by an experienced, loyal, local team of staff.
